Pet Sit Pros takes great pride in working with local non-profit organizations that help our communities and especially our animals in need. If you know of an organization that we can help please let us know.

 

The Found Animals Foundation is a privately funded non-profit whose goal is to minimize shelter euthanasia in Los Angeles through sustainable programs. We have many programs including:  Michelson Prize and Grants ($75M in grants and prizes to find a non-surgical sterilant for cats and dogs), biannual adoption events at 14 locations across Los Angeles, a cats-only annex at the Southeast Area Animal Control Authority in Downey, supplying all the microchips for all the animals adopted through the Department of Animal Care and Control, an adoption facility at Lakewood Shopping Center (opening in April 2011) and a low cost spay/neuter van.  You can find out more about us at www.foundanimals.org
