Jay Goldfischer
Founder & Co-Owner
I am a High School History Teacher and Aspiring Principal in the Long Beach area. Born and raised in the New York City area, I moved to Southern California in the months following Sept. 11, 2001 for a change of pace and a more relaxed environment. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 11 years in the teaching profession and look forward to many more. With two dogs of my own and almost 4 months of vacation during the year I found myself always looking for a good pet sitter but never really finding anybody I was satisfied with. As a result, I decided to start my own Pet Sitting Service with the goal of providing the utmost care and professionalism to our clients. Today the PSP Team consists of 10 pet sitters and dog walkers some of whom were my students when they were in high school.
Fernando Rocha
Founder & Co-Owner
I moved to Long Beach from the Bay Area in 2006 and have been working at the Long Beach Museum of Art as a Special Event Planner, Server and Bartender. I have been with Pet Sit Pros since our founding in 2009 playing an integral part in building up the business from day one. I love meeting and welcoming new clients and their pets into the PSP Family. I have two dogs of my own and they mean everything to me. I love to take them to the dog park and to the dog beach to play in the ocean.
Rebecca Coleman
Senior Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Rebecca lives in the California Heights area of Long Beach. She has owned pets all her life and is happy to have joined the Pet Sitting Pros. She is 21 years-old, graduated from Millikan High School and enjoys music, art and travel. She looks forward to meeting your pet!
Kathie Chan
Senior Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
My name is Kathie Chan. Im originally from San Jose and moved down to Long Beach to attend Cal State Long Beach. I live in the Belmont Heights/Belmont Shore area. Im currently in my fourth year and planning to graduate in Spring 2013 with a BFA in Drawing and Painting. During my employment at the local kennel, I took in my first dog, Kirby. He was roughly one year old when his owners dropped him off for a bath and never came back. Kirby has been a great joy in my life and has opened me up to different ways of living, ie. the outdoors, nutrition and the satisfaction that comes with raising and nurturing a creature.
Calvin Albright

Hey I’m Calvin and I have been an animal lover all my life. I am a Long Beach native, a recent graduate from Lakewood High School and a full time student at Long Beach City College. I currently have 3 dogs in my house, a Brown Lab named Hazel, a Dalmation named Daisy and a Black Lab named Johnny Cache. I also work as a dog bather on Saturdays at You Dirty Dog Pet Grooming. I’ve trained, walked and groomed dogs all my life and I am looking forward to caring for your pets!

Hey my name is Jennifer and I’m 18 years old. I live in Lakewood, right down the street from Lakewood High School where I recently graduated. I am a student and cheerleader at Long Beach City College where I am studying to be a nurse. I have two dogs, Tinkerbell and Pixie, both Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I love all kinds of animals, from dogs to cats to reptiles and everything in between. I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds all my life and hope to meet yours soon.
Jessica Amata

My name is Jessica Amata. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and I moved out to the Naples/Belmont shore area of Long Beach, California 3 years ago and I absolutely love it! I am currently a pre-nursing student at Long Beach City College and will be transferring to Cal State Fullerton this fall to finish my education. I love working with animals and since moving to Long Beach, I have worked at a kennel and volunteered with different rescue groups regularly. I have one dog and one cat of my own and I cannot imagine my life without them. I know how special a pet can be and I look forward to caring for your pets.

Hi my name is Kenny. I am a graduate of Lakewood High School and am currently attending Cal State Long Beach where I am working toward a bachelor’s degree in Zoology, running track and eventually a career in veterinary medicine. I have been a North Long Beach resident for 11 years and have had a variety of dogs and have always been around animals including cats, dogs, and horses. I currently own a chihuahua terrier mix and a pit bull terrier puppy. I absolutely love my pets and I look forward to meeting yours.

Hello! My name is Sharlee and I am 18 years old. I live in Cypress, CA and am proud to say I am spending my twelfth year as a cheerleader at Long Beach City College where I am also studying to become either a nurse or an English teacher. Ever since I was a little kid I have loved being around animals of all kinds. Family is number one on my list and what is a family without your pets?! My lab, Seven who recently passed away was the love of my life and it is because of him that I am looking forward to spending time with your pets.

Hi I’m Leah. I am a full time student at California State University, Long Beach. I am working on my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. I’ve been living and going to school in the Lakewood/Long Beach area my whole life. I have hade many animals throughout my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, mice and rabbits. Every day I come home, my dog always makes my day better. I take her almost everywhere I go. I am a complete animal lover. I’m very excited to meet your pet soon!
